Our Beliefs
We are Spiritualists
Spiritualism is based upon the proven demonstration of the continuity of life;
that death is only a change from the earth plane to the spirit plane of existence.
Spiritualism is both a philosophy and a way of life.
At its heart, it is founded on the belief that life continues after what we call death, and that communication between the physical and spirit worlds is not only possible but natural. It blends a deep respect for the Natural Laws of the Universe with a commitment to personal growth, compassion, and service. Spiritualism teaches that each of us is responsible for our own spiritual development, and that love, understanding, and healing are guiding forces in our lives.
Mediumship
In Spiritualism, mediums act as a bridge between the Spirit world and those still living here on Earth. Mediums are people who have developed the ability to see, hear, sense, and feel the presence of those who have passed. We believe that after the change called death, people retain their individuality—and their loved ones in Spirit often reach out to remind us that “there is no death” and they are still near, offering guidance and support.
In harmony with Infinite Intelligence
We understand Infinite Intelligence—God, in the way each of us experiences and understands the Divine—as the source of all love, energy, and vibration. God is love, and love is God. We strive to live in harmony with these truths by seeking knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, while developing strong character and growing spiritually.
Healing
Healing is also at the heart of Spiritualism. While there are many ways to offer healing, in our services we use the gentle laying-on-of-hands and absent healing. This work supports the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of all who receive it.
What to expect at our services
Inspiration, Singing, Healing, Fellowship
Inspirational Lecture
Each service includes an uplifting talk that touches on real-life experiences—like relationships, resilience, and personal growth—offering down-to-earth reflections to help you navigate life with clarity, compassion, and a sense of connection.
Hands-on-Healing
The healing portion of the service begins with a peaceful, 5-minute guided meditation accompanied by live harp music, creating a calm and supportive space. Those who wish may then receive gentle, hands-on energy healing from certified Spiritualist healers while seated. Touch is limited to the shoulders, neck, and head. Participation is always voluntary.
Spirit Communication
The service concludes with a demonstration of mediumship from the podium, where the medium shares messages from loved ones in spirit. These brief, heartfelt messages are intended to provide evidence of the continuity of life and offer comfort, healing, and connection. Several members of the congregation may receive a message each Sunday.
Hospitality & Fellowship
Following each service is a time to meet and mingle with food, beverages, and fun. Each week we hold a raffle for two dozen roses.
